Martial Arts for Mental Health

Building stronger kids through martial arts.

Martial arts can give young people far more than physical skills.

It can provide structure, confidence, discipline, mentorship, community, and a place to belong.

Our Martial Arts for Mental Health program helps remove the financial barriers that prevent at-risk and underserved youth from accessing consistent, high-quality martial arts training.

We focus particularly (but not exclusively) on young people with ADHD, learning differences, low self-esteem, and other challenges who could benefit from the structure and mentorship martial arts provides.

Our mission is simple: Fund martial arts training for at-risk individuals who otherwise may not have access to it.

 What We Provide

Participants receive structured training and mentorship through accredited programs with measurable, sport-specific benchmarks for their progress.

Training may include:

  • Judo

  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

  • Kickboxing

  • Wrestling

  • Gymnastics

  • Strength & fitness training

Progress is measured through appropriate benchmarks such as belt levels, technical skills, physical development, attendance, and achievement relative to time in the program.

This isn't simply about giving a child access to a class. It's about giving them a structured environment, dedicated coaches and mentors, clear goals to work toward, and a community invested in their success.

The Impact of Your Donation

$2,520 funds one student for an entire year.

That funding provides the resources required for a young person to participate in the program, including training, coaching, mentorship, equipment, and other necessary program expenses.

Donations can be made online by credit card, e-transfer, wire transfer, or cheque.

Every dollar helps.
